Essay

The concept of «an artistic image of city», based on principles of synthesis of the fine arts and architecture is determined. Principles and forms of synthesis of arts as figurative dialogue of various art components of an image of city are revealed. In research knowledge in scientific use concept «representation» in architecture. On the basis of it, in research the complex art criticism analysis Cities of Sun (Heliopolis) in Baalbek as artifact for the first time is lead. The basic features «representation» its art forms are revealed, principles of harmonization in system of synthesis of the fine arts and architecture are revealed.
