Object of research: process of overcoming of poverty in system of the world economy. The purpose of dissertational work is improvement of theoretical and methodical bases and development of scientific - practical recommendations on overcoming poverty as global problem of the world economy. Methods исследоваия: a dialectic method of scientific knowledge, a method of generalization, a method of the comparative analysis, methods of the statistical analysis, ordering, a method of the system analysis and economic-mathematical modelling. Theoretical results: consist in a deepening of existing theoretical positions concerning research of poverty in conditions of globalization and development of scientific - practical recommendations concerning improvement of the mechanism of overcoming of poverty in system of the world economy. Practical results: consist in development of positions and recommendations of improvement of the mechanism of overcoming of poverty in Ukraine on the basis of global partnership, actions on prevention of poverty at a macroeconomic level in conditions of development of world economic relations. Scientific novelty: for the first time: classification of the countries of the world on a level of concentration of poverty is offered due to introduction of factor of density of the poor population; it is advanced: the scientific - methodical approach to a rating estimation of a level of poverty; classification of global problems of mankind on spheres of their occurrence; definition of concept " global social partnership "; have received the further development: conceptual bases of overcoming of poverty in system of the world economy; identification of features of social policy of the advanced countries of the world on overcoming poverty. Degree of introduction: results of research are used in practical activities of the Ministry of work and social policy; Management of Foreigh relations and the European Integration of the Cherkassk Regional State Administration; the Cherkassk Commercial and Industrial Chamber, and also in educational process of the Cherkassky National University of name Bogdan Khmelnitskiy.
