Essay

The pharmacological study ointment "Estan", which contain extract of seed of horse-chestnut, extract of bark of oak and lidocain hydrochlorid. It was proved, that ointment "Estan" has an antiinflammatory, analgesic, reparative, anesthetic, antybacterial, venoprotective action. On the experimental models of trombophlebitis, phenol and formalin proctitis, inflammation models, by the method of acetic convulsions, linear sword-cut were established advantages of ointment “Estan” before preparations of comparison to on all to the probed indexes. By results of toxicity experiments it was installed, that ointment “Estan” concerns to VI class of toxicity – rather harmless substances. The ointment "Estan" is allergenicless and irritantless. The ointment "Estan" is recommended as facility for the treatment of haemorrhoids
