Otravenko O. Formation of mental health of secondary school students in the process of physical education.

The theoretical basis of forming of students' mental health in the process of physical education is investigated in the thesis. The essence of mental health of secondary school students is revealed. Characteristics of mental health formation in the process of physical education, its formation stages, the main criteria, maturity levels and factors are defined. Scientific novelty and practical importance of work are determined. For the first time the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions of mental health formation in the secondary school students is grounded theoretically and proved practically in the performed investigation. These conditions provide the effectiveness of forming of mental health of secondary school students in the process of physical education. The main investigation results may be used in the process of students preparation in the pedagogical higher education establishments, in the practical work of physical training teachers, classroom teachers, organizers of educational work in general secondary education institutions, at the further vocational training courses for teachers in the postgraduate educational system.
