The research is devoted to the improvement of education process at agrarian university. The meaning of the nation of "education activity of an agrarian lecturer" has been determined; the condition and features of education work organization at the agrarian university have been analyzed; a model of education process and criteria and quality indices of education activity have been developed; the organizational and pedagogical conditions for improvement of education activity at the agrarian university have been grounded and experimentally tested and the effect of their realization has been proved.
