Riznychenko A. Evidence of efficacy of quercetin and thiotriazolin for the prevention of antituberculous drugs adverse effects

Theoretical generalization and new decision for scientific problem of more effective tuberculosis treatment was performed. Expedience of quercetin, corvitin and thiotriazolin application for prevention of side effects development, caused by isoniazid and rifampicin, has been experimentally grounded. In toxicological researches diminishing of isoniazid and rifampicin acute toxicity at the use in combination with quercetin, corvitin and thiotriazolin is shown. The protective action of quercetin, corvitin and thiotriazolin on the indexes of lipids peroxidation, antioxidative defense, lipid composition and hystomorphological structure of myocardium and liver, osmotic resistance of erythrocytes, state of hemodynamics and biochemical markers of organs' damage for experimental animals during acute intoxication by isoniazid and rifampicin was researched. Research results are substantiating the possibility of quercetin, corvitin and thiotriazolin inclusion to the antituberculous treatment schemes with isoniazid and rifampicin, considering antioxidative and protective effects of metabolic drugs.
