Dissertation research is dedicated to the problem of management of professional competence formation process of the Deputy Director for studies and pedagogical work of general education institution. The subject matter of the concept "professional competence" and the scope of professional activity of the Deputy Director for studies and pedagogical work of general education educational institution are determined upon the research. The management model of management of professional competence formation process of the Deputy Director for studies and pedagogical work of general education institution is developed, scientifically grounded, approbated and computerized. The corresponding methodological recommendations concerning implementation of this management model are developed at the level of District Methodics Department of the District (Municipal) Department (Administration) of Education.
