Essay

The dissertation is devoted to find out the most active substances in the line of tienopirimidine derivatives of monocarbonic acids (compounds TSV), and study of their antidepressant-like properties in conditionals of experimental depression. In additional two more classes of noncompetitive NMDA antagonists were investigated: calcium channels blockers (memantin, midantan) and polyamine binding sites modulators (spermine, arkaine, and IEMs compounds). Polyamine binding sites modulators do not have any antidepressant-like activity in same experimental models of depression. It was shown that neither monoaminergic neither GABA systems do not plays any significant role in antidepressant action of non-competitive NMDA antagonists. However, opiate receptors blockage by naloxone can reverse anti-immobility effects of TSV 31.54, thoughts by presynaptic action on glutamate terminals.
