Pahomovska M. Efficient employment in the agricultural sector (on the example of Dnipropetrovsk region).

The thesis developed theoretical and practical aspects of creating an effective mechanism for employment in the agricultural sector. The nature of effective employment is investigated. The motivational component as the basis for socio-economic relations is separated and factors that affect it are proved. Influence of land relationships for building an effective employment in the agricultural sector is determined. A methodological basis for effective estimation of employment, based on the system of figures according to the criteria that determine level, status and conditions of achieving effective employment is suggested. We analyze the state of labor market in Dnipropetrovsk region. The number of economically active population in rural areas up to 2020 is forecasted. The trend in the labor market development in the region is generalized. The analytical estimation of the factors that determine the effective employment is conducted and positive influence of incomes on employment is found. We built a graphic model using the criterion of profitability as the reason for effective employment. A mechanism for regulation of employment, which allows managing the processes in the labor market to ensure effective employment, is suggested. The main directions of the regional programs involve solving economic and social problems of the rural population and promote its active participation in agricultural production.
