The object - the process of parents' pedagogical culture forming; purpose - the theoretical ideas to systematize and the experience of parents' pedagogical culture forming in Ukraine of the researched period with the purpose of his improvement in modern terms to generalize; methods - historical-pedagogical, theoretical, system-structural, retrospective; novelty - the integral analysis of problem of parents' pedagogical culture forming is presented in the domestic idea of the second half of the XX century; pre-conditions of creation of the system of pedagogical universal education during the researched period are considered; the stages of development of theory and practice are grounded; the especially of content of knowledge, abilities and skills, wich are necessary parents for realization of tasks of moral, mental, physical education of children in the family, are exposed; the tendencies of parents' pedagogical culture forming in the second half of the XX century are certain; the role of school and people's universities of pedagogical knowledge in the process of public pedagogical education is specified, the ways for implementation of acquired experience of parents' pedagogical culture forming in present day conditions are singled out; results are inculcated in the educational process of pedagogical universities; results-area - pedagogic
