The research object is a process of vehicle hauling and traction mode movement at action of external indignations and instability of vehicle parameters. The research subject is the substantiation of requirements to a vehicle design and technical condition, providing vehicle stability at hauling and traction movement mode under changing operational conditions. The theoretical (mathematical modeling, the similarity theory, the decision of the equations and their analysis) and experimental (natural tests of object, electric measurement of physical sizes) studies methods are used. Scientific novelty - for the first time the interrelation between traction-speed characteristics, parameters of wheels with a basic surface interaction, vehicles geometrical parameters and indicators of their stability against drift particularly at hauling and in a traction mode movement is received; for the first time the general method of operational factors and technical condition changing on vehicle against drift stability influence estimation is offered. Practical value: the obtained results are used by Kharkiv Bokarius Research Institute for Forensic Expertise at analyzing the causes of Road accident occurrence; HC "AvtoKrAZ" at carrying out researches and investigation-design works for vehicles' development; PE "110 Kharkiv Automobile- Repairing Plant" at carrying out maintenance works for the purpose of vehicles' modernization; Transport Examination Laboratory of KHNAHU at carrying out vehicles' qualimetric testing. The sphere of use: in organizations which are engaged in research of vehicles stability, expert estimation and the road accident reasons analysis, carrying out of certification and qualimetric tests of vehicles.
