A research object is processes of forming and adjusting of employment of population in a region. A purpose is development of theoreticо-methodological positions for the exposure of regional features of employment of population and going near its adjusting. Methods: monographic, statistical, cartographic, sociological, comparison, design, economic and system structural analysis. Theoretical and practical results: scientifically methodical recommendations are in relation to adjusting of employment of population of region. Novelty: grounded principles of development and realization of conception of employment on the basis of found out the regional features of its adjusting. Degree of introduction: suggestions are utillized in activity of Main administrations of economy Ivano-Francovsk, Lvov and Khmel'nickoy regional state administrations, and also in the educational process of PHEE "University of economy and enterprise".
