The problem of becoming a child as a subject is represented in pedagogical, psychological, philosophical works and is grounded on such criteria as: acceptance of individuality, uniqueness of a child; harmony of the personal and common to all mankind values; complete refusal of violence above a child and his nature; interpretation and perception of a child as an active and equal in rights subject with his own will power; the realization of the developing strategy that consists in concrete deeds, anxiety about the growth of child personal qualities, development of his potential possibilities and consciousness, perception of his personality with all strong and weak points. A lot of sources, such as monographs, state documents, scientific-pedagogical and psychological books, K. Ushynskyj's well-known and unknown works, sites of network on the Internet, periodicals, scientific works of pedagogues, philosophers and psychologists have been studied and analysed in the course of our research work.
