Essay

This dissertation touches upon cognitive and discursive studies of functioning of language units. The author researches the peculiarities of speech actualization of metadiscursive units from the point of view of the modern analysis of discourse and the theory of verbal interactions. Semantic, communicative-pragmatic and functional peculiarities of metadiscursive modifiers of nominations (MMN) in modern French are described.
