Rozum E. Preventive of artificially acquired infertility in cows and heifers

The thesis is dedicated to solving a problem of prophylaxis of artificially acquired infertility of a cow and heifer due to in conception while inseminated artificially. The results of the undertaken investigations testify that main cause of artificial insemination low efficiency is morphologic and functional inadequacy of animal reproductive organs which promotes decrease of a conception rate due to estral mucus toxicity. The means of oestral mucus toxicity evaluation and conception rate in a cow prognosis using Colpoda Steinii ecologic and toxicology express test, so as technological approaches to increase artificial insemination efficacy and artificially acquired infertility prevention are worked out. Recuperation of functional state of reproductive organs and in turn, increase of a conception rate due to uterus sanation with complex antibacterial preparations before and after semen injected in cows with numerous failed inseminations is proved. Use of androgenized teaser - cows and single rectocervical way of artificial insemination with no long-time exposition in a cubicle have been proved effective.
