Object: processes of forming of strategy of social development within the limits of economic mechanisms of functioning of region. Purpose: development of theoretical-methodical positions of forming of strategy and mechanisms of realization of social development of region, perfection of management public welfare and social processes, warnings of risks of formation of negative consequences and avoidance of socio-economic crises. Methods: system researches, statistical-mathematical, differentiations of regulator subsystems, operative analysis of trend. Results: forming of strategy of social development of region is first grounded, the mechanisms of management social processes, methodological vehicle of analysis of factors of social development of region and estimation of social effect, are improved.
