Andrusyshyn N. Social and economic consequences of deviant behaviour of young people and mechanism of their prevention

Main content: the socio-economic consequences of deviant behaviour among youth and ways of their prevention in the region are investigated. Object of study: deviant behaviour of youth as an important determinant of human development. Purpose: the development of theoretical provisions and practical recommendations for research on the socio-economic consequences of deviant behaviour among youth, identification and development of mechanism aimed to prevent this phenomenon in the region. Methods: the interdisciplinary, systematic, synergetic, analysis, synthesis, generalization, empirical and mathematical methods. Theoretical and practical results: the necessary conceptual and terminological apparatus and methodological tools of research of social losses caused by deviant behaviour of young people are developed; the recommendations on the methodology of evaluating the socio-economic consequences of deviant behaviour among youth and the priorities of its prevention are offered. Novelty: the diagnostic model of socio-economic consequences of deviant behaviour among youth is developed. The results are realized in practice. Area of use: in the activities of public authorities of national and regional levels with specialization in the demographic and socio-economic development.
