Object of research - tumors in dogs. The purpose of research - improvement of diagnostic methods of tubular bones' osteosarcoma in dogs with taking into account factors, which promote the rising of disease, and searching of the most rational and effective therapy of animals by criterion of their life's duration. Methods of researching - clinical, X-ray, morphological composition of blood (erythrocytes, leukocytes, leukogram, amount of NK-cells), biochemical (haemoglobin, ESR, total Ca, C-reactive protein, activity of alkaline and acid phosphatase, sialic acids, glycoproteins, gaptoglobin, chondroitinsulfates, Veltman's test), histological and statistical. Scientific novelty: consist in improvement of diagnostic tubular bone's osteosarcoma in dogs. By the conducted biochemical researches is proved, that in different forms of osteosarcoma the activity of acid and alkaline phosphatase is rising dissimilar, what permits to use the degree of hyperfermenthaemia for differential diagnosis of various osteosarcoma's forms. It was determined, that the overpatching of amount of granular lymphocytes and granules in their cytoplasm permits to realize individual selection of immunostimulating preparations. By the clinical and laboratorial researches is proved, that the using of immunostimulators (cycloferon, intron A) promotes for indexes improvement of dog's metabolic description, improvement of their general state and increasing the amount of big granular lymphocytes in peripheral blood. Radical tumor's ablation breaks the alterative changes in organism, decreasing or normalization of alkaline and acid phosphatase activity in blood serum is evidencing. It was determined, that the conducting of preoperative and postoperative chemotherapy (doxorubicin, cisplatin), amputation of extremity and immunostimulation rise the life's duration of animals to 3,7 times more. It is introduced: the results that were got are in use for educational process and scientific researches in Kharkiv state zooveterinary academy, Bila Tserkva national agrarian university, National university of life and environmental sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv), L'viv national university of veterinary medicine and biotechnologies named by S.Z. Kgitskogo, Dnipropetrovsk state agrarian university, Lugansk state agrarian university, Poltava state agrarian academy. Branch of using: veterinary medicine.
