The dissertation is devoted to the experimental substantiation of reasonability of prophylactic application of the coordination compound of germanium with nicotinic acid (MIGU-1) in conditions of acute cerebral ischemia. During development of dosage regimen it was experimentally proved that the compound reveals its maximal antiischemic effect in a dose 130,3 mg/kg in intraabdominal introduction a 59,8 minutes before the pathology modeling. Cerebroprotective activity of germaniumorganic compound, which was investigated, realizes in expressed ability to prevent the development of widespread membrane pathology in dynamics in animals with ischemic stroke by: the modification of free-radical reactions parameters, oppression of oxidative markers of proteins and lipids destruction hyperproduction, preservation of antioxidants' profile components level. Moreover, the potential cerebroprotector corrects the concentration of main components of adenyl-nucleotide system and level of energetic indexes, modifies the activity of main enzymes of energetic homeostasis and also normalizes the level of main parameters of carbohydrate metabolism in form of ischemic stroke, which was modeled.
