The object of research: the process of learning in Ukrainian school at 20 to 30 years of XX century, the subject of study: theory and practice of teaching methods in the Ukrainian professional work and the Ecole Polytechnique in 20-30th years of XX century, the purpose of research - to study, analyze and systematize the theoretical achievements and practical experience with teaching methods in the Ukrainian school of 20 to 30 years of XX century, the potentialities of its use in modern conditions; research methods used to obtain objective information on the selected issue on two levels: theoretical - scientific methods (relatively historical analysis of philosophical, historical, psychological, pedagogical and methodological sources and scholarly works of domestic and foreign researchers, synthesis, classification, comparison of archival documents, legal materials and periodicals of the period investigated), systematic and structural, and historical (chronological, historical and typological, logical-historical) methods, which enabled to trace the dynamics of teaching methods in the specified period; abstraction, typological comparison, the method of reconstruction of traditions for the sake of identifying innovations researched the problem and update of its main trends, statistical methods, empirical - the method of observation and retrospective method - for identifying and accounting features of techniques of training tested in 20-30-th, in terms of modern Ukrainian secondary schools; scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the dissertation is that in it the first time: in history - the pedagogical aspect of specific research methods training in the Ukrainian Labor and the Polytechnic School 20 - 30 - years of the twentieth century, the logic of general transformation methods (old) school of logic and adaptation of training methods Work (professional) and Ukrainian Polytechnic School 20 - 30 - years of the twentieth century proved that the developed and proposed methods of teaching science practical and methodological equipment of the educational process in Ukrainian school 20 - 30 - years of the twentieth century had been systematic and scientific, effective, historically and pedagogically justified; in scientific use, and introduced little known previously unknown archival materials allowed to deepen and specify information about the historical development of Ukrainian education and teaching methods used during this period; further development took position on the relationship of training methods and contents and character of the educational process in Ukrainian school 20 to 30 years of the twentieth century, research methods training as determinate aspects of a pedagogical. system.
