Pavlovskyy V. Spiritual as Means of Personality Transformation

The acuteness of the transitional society's problems cause the spiritual crises of personality and induce him/her to transformation. The spiritual practices as means of personality transformation are analyzed in the given thesis. The spiritual practices are interpreted by author as sensual and substantial personality's activity, directed, on one hand, at the development and control of her/his own psycho-physiological and spiritual forces and, on the other hand, at her/his further self-realization. The theoretical reconstruction of Spiritual practices for emphasizing of the transition's main points in their evolution in different outlook traditions on the base of system approach is realized in the given research. Means and the main patterns of the present spiritual practices are analyzed. The author reveals the peculiarities of personality transformation during spiritual practices and creates the typology of transformed personality. He shows the necessity of attraction of the spiritual practice's elements for the system of personality formation.
