Essay

The dissertation is a multilevel complex research work in which a panoramic review of art and art study processes at Kyiv University during the period of 1834 - 1924 was made for the first time. Study, systematization and introduction into academic circuit a big lot of archive materials, published editions of XIX century helped to broaden and to some extend to create for the first time factual information for analyses and development of art study at Kyiv university. In the process of generalized chronological presentment of the material separate questions were determined which were important for exposure of the subject, namely the history of formation and of fine arts and architecture collection as a study basis for teaching of drawing, painting, architecture and theory and history of art.
