There was conducted experimental research of new category of chemical composition – amides of quinolinic-carboxylic acid – for the purpose of detecting anabolic activity. As result, the most effective and the least toxic substance was selected, being called khinobolin. Moreover, it was detected that 42 mg/kg of khinobolin exhibits high level of anabolic activity without any sign of androgenic effect. Mechanism of anabolic effect of khinobolin on the model of alimentary albuminous (proteinaceous) degeneration with inclusion of labeled C14 amino acids is explained due to its stimulating effect on protein – synthesizing mechanism of a cell, activating transamination process, creating positive nitrogen balance in an organism, outstanding myotrophic effect as well as its influence on nucleic acid synthesis. Under the experimental izadryn cardiomyodystrophy the substance normalizes bioelectrical activity cardiac muscle, reduces the level of laktatdegidrogenaza and prevents from lab animals’ death thus it also proofs anabolic activity of khinobolin. On basis of hydrocortisone-inductance catabolism khinobolin shows significant anabolic activity, prevents from sharp weight loosing of lab rats, forward cardiac muscular, spleen and kidney enrichment with protein, enhances salvage of urea nitrogen as well as holds functional parameters of kidneys at the normal physiological level.
