This dissertation focuses on reconstructing the fictional picture of the world in French drama of the absurd represented by Samuel Beckett's, Eug?ne Ionesco's and Arthur Adamov's literary works. This research is car-ried out via analyzing structure and semantics of the concept ANTIPERSON as well as pragmatic peculiarities of its actualization in French absurdist drama. The term “textual concept-idea” was coined in the present study in order to ascertain French absurdist drama fictional space as a holistic and structured system of conceptual meanings. It resulted in revealing the essential conceptual components of the fictional space, which helped to represent the general scheme of the textual concept-idea ANTIPERSON's unfolding in the plays by the French dramatists of the absurd.
