The investigation object: morphofunctional changes in the tissues of thyroid gland in microelementosis in different age periods. The investigation goal: to study morphofunctional features of the thyroid gland in microelementosis and their correction by the drug “Glutargin ®” an experiment on white laboratory rats of various ages. Methods of research: organometry, gistological and histochemical methods for the study of tissue, morphometry, atomic absorption spectrophotometry, electron microscopy, mathematical methods. Theoretical and practical value of the obtained results. for the first time a complex study of morphological changes of the thyroid gland of rats of different ages (young and mature) in terms of microelementosis influence was perfomed on experimental material. The possibility of using Glutargin as a corrector of the structural changes that occur in microelementosis is invetigated; new possible mechanisms of Glutargin influence on the thyroid gland are displayed. For the first time the involvement of colloid follicle pressure in the morphogenesis and the formation of the architectonics of the thyroid gland of lobes are considered. The use of desquamation of follicular epithelium as a marker of induction oxidative stress is proposed. It was found that in microelementosis in thyroid tissue its morphological homeostasis is violated, changes at all levels of its structural organization take place. The analysis of major trends of changes of the morphofunctional homeostasis of the thyroid gland under influence of microelementosis is done and age features of the changes is identified. These data allow to define the mechanisms of morphogenesis regulation of the thyroid gland in different age periods under the influence microelementosis, to predict the morphological changes in the thyroid gland. The periods of morphofunctional activity of the thyroid gland in microelementosis were identified. The study can be used in endocrinology, toxicology, pediatrics, normal and pathological anatomy and physiology. The data obtained can be used to find ways to correct the structural changes of the thyroid gland, new ways to prevent adverse environmental effects, as well as to search for new thyreostatic medicines. The degree of implementation: the results of experimental researches were introducted into educational process and scientific work in department of human Ternopol state medical university by I.J.Gorbachevsky, department of human anatomy of Vinitsa national medical university, department of human anatomy and histology of medical faculty of Uzhgorod national university, department of human anatomy of Bukovina state medical university, department of human anatomy of Kharkiv national medical university, department of human Simferopol state medical university by S.I. Georgievsky, department of applied ecology of Sumy state university.
