A research object is practices of liberation as aspect of social life in their intercommunication with the ideas of freedom in their in-conceptual expression. A subject of dissertation research is features of origin of projects of social freedom and their realization by the certain set of practices of liberation. A research purpose is a conceptual comprehension of essence of public projects of freedom, features of their origin and historical ways of realization, that practical worker of liberation, in the context of public life of Europe of the V items B.C. - end of the XX items A.D. Scientific novelty of the got results: neutral determination of freedom is mine-out ideological, due to what going is developed near the pictures produced in history of humanity of freedom, which allows to examine them not from position of their approaching to the certain ideal, but in all their appropriate variety; the criteria of analysis of such rich in content blocks of presentations are first given in-process - projects of freedom; essence and social value of practices of liberation is shown; original classification of practices of liberation is first offered fully; the prospect of application of such classification is shown for the analysis of fight for freedom of different times; conception of freedom which spoke out philosophers from times of Antiquity to New time is specified; the concrete historical projects of freedom are found in history of Europe, their maintenance, purpose and underlying structure, is exposed; the analysis of concrete historical projects is given in their connection with a that public situation which they overcame; correlation of projects of freedom and practices of liberation is exposed during concrete historical events; inclination is found out each of these projects of freedom to realization through certain practices of liberation; the generalized picture of methods of fight is reconstructed for freedom in each of the considered epoch of European history. Research methods: historically-comparative, system, dialectical. Research results also can be drawn on in the process of teaching of courses philosophy, social philosophy, sociology, political science and conflictology, and also at development and reading of the special course on issue of freedom.
