Savchuk V. Prognostication and providing durability of slide bearings of motor and tractor transmissions

The Dissertation is dedicated to the solution of problem of providing sliding and rolling slide bearings of motor and tractor transmission with durability by determining the influence of parameters that define resources and developing of methods for their calculation. Based on the methods of the theory of elasticity and numerous calculations, using the finite element method, the dependence of load conditions of slide bearings on their stressedly-deformed condition was defined. The influence of structural characteristics of bearing mount assemblies of gear wheels on the formation of pitting on their lateral surfaces was also determined. The interdependence of factors that influence the durability of slide bearings and probability of nonfailure operation of the assemblies under consideration was analyzed. Recommendations on determination of quality control parameters of slide bearings and recommendations on the ways of increasing their durability have been developed.
