Selecting the theory of intertextuality as a research object is justified for several reasons: changing of the philosophical perspective of the twentieth century, namely the consideration of any manifestations of culture as texts; dissemination of intertextuality as an artistic device; methodological flexibility of this theory. Justification of intertextuality as an aesthetic principle is carried out by reasoning the possibility of transforming the classical principle of mimesis in modern intertextual by redefining the traditional principle of representation (the replacement of relations "the reality - the text" to "text - text").
