Essay

In the thesis the essential dimensions of nonconformism and conformism in a modern sociophilosophical comprehension are revealed. The mentioned phenomena are analyzed in the context of a multidisciplinary approach, according to the dynamics of modern sociocultural processes. Difficult character of object of dissertational research assumes the reference to different spheres of humanitarian knowledge, attraction of teoretiko-methodological bases of a reflection of the public phenomena developed in works of such outstanding representatives of philosophical, sociological, culturological thought, as P.Berger, M.Weber, E.Durkheim, F.Engels, A.Kamiu, I.Kant, S.Kara-Murza, J.Lotman, T.Lukman, M.Mamardashvili, K.Marks, R.Merton, the Zh.-P.Sartre, N.Smelzer and others. Conformism and nonconformism are defined as opposite ways of social choice of an individual and opposite vectors of self actualization of personality during the system social crisis that is characterized by variability of sociocultural space, social anomy, devaluation of common values, culture massification, and destruction of the axiosphere. It is emphasized that under the specified conditions nonconformism acts as a constitutive vector of the self actualization of personality, while conformism as an opposite vector of social choice is a factor that catalyzes the development and deepening of social crisis. It is also demonstrated that in certain conditions nonconformism may be regarded as one of the social creativity forms. The social protest and counterculture are analyzed as explications of nonconformism; the phenomenon of the aestetisation of social protest and features of the creative intentions' realizations in the situation of performative turn in culture are investigated for the first time. The nonconformism and conformism are analyzed as strategy of adaptation of student's youth in the conditions of transformation of educational space.
