Dumanska V. Education as a factor of demographic situation improvement

The thesis is devoted to the development of the theoretical, methodological and applied research principals of education as a factor of the demographic situation improvement, and to the argumentation of practical recommendation in relation with the demography crisis reducing using educational policy instruments. It is investigated the role of education institute in the system of human development potentials, advocated demographic sense of main functions of education and directions of their impact on health and reproductive behavior of population. Main trends of population's educational level impact on demographic situation are systematized. The author develops and approbates investigation methods of education impact on the demographic processes based on analytical indicators and econometrical modeling usage. The priority of the state educational policy on each level of educational system is determinate, system of the socio-demographic indicators for estimation of educational policy efficiency in the framework of demographic crisis is proposed. In the thesis, mechanism of the demographic situation improvement using educational policy instruments is developed.
