Object - a process of high school pupil's healthy life style forming; the aim - to study and to generalize the theory, to analize and to systematize the experience of high school pupils' healthy life style forming in the national pedagogy (the second part of the XX century) for using creative findings in the past in pedagogical process of modern school; methods - general scientific, historical; novelty - it was realized an integral research of the questions of high school pupils' healthy life style forming during specific historic period, defined a contribution of native scientists, pedagogues of the second part of the XX century in development of theoretical foundations of mentioned problem, revealed the stages and adequate tendencies of the development of high school pupils' healthy life style forming in the national pedagogy of the second part of the XX century with a glance of such peculiarities as social-political, economical and cultural development of a country, government educational politics, sociopedagogical demands to the level of the development of pedagogic theory and practice, substantiation of different approaches to the healthy life style forming of a person, generalized the experience of realization of healthy life style forming tendencies in school practice during the investigated period, it is defined the prospects of using positive experience of high school pupils' healthy life style forming during the investigated period in modern school; results - theoretical propositions, facts are introduced in teaching course "A healthy life style forming of a high school pupils: historical aspect" for students of pedagogical institutions of III-IV levels is worked out; field - pedagogy
