Object: development of approaches to problem of verbal creativity of pre-school children in native theory and practice (verge of XIX - XX centuries). Aim: to discover particularities of both theoretical ideas and practical experience of native educationalists (verge of XIX - XX centuries) for dealing with problem of verbal creativity of pre-school children as of means for moral education; methods: historical and genetic, monograph method, method of systematization and classification; new: history of approaches to problem of verbal creativity of pre-school children as of means for moral education studied; approaches to its solution substantiated; peculiarities of arrangement of children's verbal creativity as well as their use nowadays discovered; results: the ways of introduction of the experience in pre-school educational organizations and in higher educational institutions discovered; field – General Pedagogics and History of Pedagogics.
