Object - the development, scientific; subject - the process of senior high School pupil's self-education investigation topic-pedagogical conditions of self-education skills; Grounding and experimental tests of structural-functional model, pedagogical conditions of self-education skills forming among senior high school pupils; methods: theoretical - psychological-pedagogical analysis of literature realized with the view of defining the details worked out for the given investigation problem, comparison, analysis, synthesis, generalizing, classification, modeling used for defining necessary components of structural-functional model of senior high school pupils self-education forming skills, and their interrelations; empirical - pedagogical observation, questionnaire, tests, talks for defining a self-education forming skills level, and the state of their organization in the studding-educational process; scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in that: theoretical grounds of senior high school pupils self-education forming skills activity have been justified scientifically for the first time, the structural-functional model of senior high school pupils self-education forming skills has been worked out, appropriateness and efficiency of resolving the problem given have been proved/ Essential traits of selt-education activities have been discovered, the content, development dynamics and forming agents of self-education activities among senior high school pupils have been defined, the pedagogical conditions of senior high school pupils self- education preparation have been worked out.
