Essay

The theoretical and methodological, methodical and practical problems of occupational training and improvement of its organizational-economic mechanism. Major trends in occupational training in Ukraine based on analysis of state statistics and questionnaire surveys are discovered. Factors affecting the development of occupational training are discovered and problems are found. A perspective model of organizational-economic mechanism of occupational training is introduced, based on an innovative approach, involves updating of occupational training process (through the introduction of pre-professional training, use of training for career growth, the introduction of partial qualifications) and identifies directions of improving the organizational and economic provision of occupational training at work (legal, financial-economic, organizational, educational-methodic and informational).
