Essay

Object: language learning process in higher education of Great Britain; objective: to analyse and summarize theoretical and practical foundations of individualization in language learning process in higher education of Great Britain, to elucidate opportunities of application their positive experience for improvement of language preparation of students in higher education of Ukraine; methods: historical-retrospective, historical-comparative, synchronization, classification, systematization, generalization, concept analysis, interpretation; novelty: theoretical foundations of individualization of language learning in higher education of Great Britain were revealed, peculiarities of practical realization of individualization on the ground of flexible learning and learning styles of students were grounded, basics of autonomy theory analyzed; results: experience of Great Britain concerning individualization of language learning process, positive for Ukrainian education, was determined; field – General Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy.
