Essay

Object of study is the cultural diversity and intercultural relations in complex etnodemograficheskih communities. The aim of the research is sotsialnofilosofsky analysis of the phenomenon of multiculturalism as an influential contemporary social reality, as well as the modern concept of social philosophy and a mechanism of social policy. Theoretical and methodological basis of research: the ideal typical, ontological-historicist approach, social constructivism, phenomenological ontology, dialectical method, cultural-historical method of system analysis, the method of theoretical modeling, the concept of unity and diversity of cultural-historical process. The thesis also used the concepts of cultural pluralism, cultural diversity and tolerance. Scientific novelty of the research: the first in the Ukrainian Social Philosophy, a comprehensive analysis of the philosophical theory of multiculturalism as a synthesis of liberalism and communitarianism, and deepened the study of multiculturalism as a social phenomenon and concept, and traced its dynamics, improved definition of the methodological field study of multiculturalism, was developed further study the phenomenon of multiculturalism postmodern philosophy, understanding the origins of multiculturalism, specificity of multiculturalism in the post-Soviet countries, carried out the socio-philosophical analysis of the phenomenon of multiculturalism in the social reality of modern Ukraine, proved that Ukraine should form their own identity based on the values of civil society on the basis of equality of cultures and support dialogue between them. The results of the research used in pedagogical practice in teaching the course "Philosophy," "Cultural Studies", "Political Ethics".
