Essay

The object of research is a science and pedagogical heritage of Miroslav Ignatyevich Stelmahovich. Objective: to scientifically substantiate the possibility of using the ideas of family education in pedagogic legacy of Stelmahovich in the practice of modern educational institutions. Methods: тheoretical: a retrospective - the analysis and synthesis of the features of the laws of formation and development of family pedagogy to education in Ukraine, the personalistic and biographical; observational: the study of memories, reviews, photographs for accurate visualization of M. Stelmahovich image. Scientific newness of the research: the first comprehensive analysis of educational activities of M. Stelmahovich, elucidated the main factors shaping scientific and educational views of the scientist, investigated and theoretically grounded into periods of activity, the content and main directions of scientific-pedagogical activity of the scientist in the field of parenting. Refined the concept of "family pedagogy," "family education" concretized their originality in the M. Stelmahovich interpretation. M. Stelmahovich ideas of family education in modern educational practice, revealed the concept of multifactorial influence Ukrainian family education for the maintenance of general and teacher education have received further development of mainstream creative implementation. Results: The results of the research can be used in teaching institutions of higher education for preparing teachers, pedagogical skills, for diploma writing, master's papers, dissertations.
