The thesis deals with the studies of Anatoliy Onyshko's translation method. The research is made within the scope of the theory of contexts.The paper contributes to the history of the Ukrainian artistic translation being the first research of the contemporary's translation method. Its materials can prove useful for compiling bibliographic indexes and, in particular, for composing an artistic biographic and bibliographic sketch on A. Onyshko's life and creative work.
