Essay

The object is a senior preschool-age children sex education. The aim is to ground scientifically and experimentally check up the pedagogical terms of sexual education of children of senior preschool age in preschool educational establishments. Methods are theoretical, empirical, statistical. Novelty - the pedagogical conditions aimed at effective work on conducting preschool-age children sex education have been theoratically grounded and practically elaborated; the effectiveness of the model of realization of pedagogical conditions of senior preschool-age children sex education embracing three consecutive stages (introductory, operative, evaluative and reflexive) has been verified and confirmed in the course of experimental teaching; there has been analyzed the essence of the notion "senior preschool-age children sex education"; the contents and the structure of this phenomenon, its components (cognitive, emotional and evaluative, behavioural) have been revealed; the indicators characterising the levels of preschool-age children gender awareness formation; further development was got by a theory and method of sexual education of children of senior preschool age. Results - the experimental method of realization of pedagogical terms of sexual education of children of senior preschool age is developed in preschool educational establishments. Efficiency of introduction - high. Branch - pedagogical, pre-school educational establishments, high pedagogical educational establishments.
