The target of the research is the communicative-speech activity of children in a mixed-age group. The goal of the research is to substantiate and experimentally verify the model of forming effective speech communication of children of preschool age in a mixed-age group.Methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical. Novelty - the experimental model of developing preschool children oral communication in the different-aged children's group of the preschool institution has been elaborated; the pedagogical conditions of its realization (oral communication organization as interaction of two different-aged individuals in the common developmental communicative space, presence of positive stimuli in the different-aged children's community while acquiring communicative experience with the other senior (junior) preschool children, organization of cooperative oral communication teaching in the different-aged children's community) have been theoretically grounded and practically tested; in the research, the contents and the structure of the phenomenon "preschool children oral communication in the different-aged children's community" have been revealed; the notions "cooperative teaching", "oral communication", the criteria (informational-communicative, emotional-communicative, reflexive-communicative) with the definite indicators have been specified.The experimental methods of diagnostics of forming speech communication of children of pre-school age in a mixed-age group have been elaborated. The system of the lessons, speech tasks and games which help to form speech communication of children of preschool age in a mixed-age group has been created. Efficacy of introduction - high. Branch - pedagogical, pre-school educational establishments, high pedagogical educational establishments.
