Research object - ruminotomia in cattle. Purpose of search - toimprove ruminotomia in young catlle, to investigate the course of regenerative processes by this operation and to develop the methods of their correction. Methods of search: clinical, haematological (erythrocyte number, hematocrit value, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, osmotic erythrocyte resistance, sorption capacity of erythrocytes, leucocutes count, leukogramme, hemoglobin concentration, common albumen of blood serum, albumen fraction (albumines, globulines), concentration of T3, T4, TSH, kortisol), bacteriological (determination of sensitivity of early microflora to antiseptics), cytomorhological, statistic. Scientific novelety: on the basis of clinical, and experimental research has been complemented by the classic method of ruminotomia in young cattleby some technical methods, it was investigated bacteriological peculiarities of furatsylin solution, lactate etakrydyn and iodofores in dimethyl sulfoxide. For the first time it was investigated the influence of ruminotomia on the dynamics of thyroid hormones, pituitary thyroid stimulating hormone, cortisol, protein synthesized liver function, morpholgical content of blood, osmotik resistance and sorbtion capacity of erythrocytes. It was investigated the influence of parenteral injection of iodolipid drug "Tireoton" on the functional state of thyroid gland and found out that the activation of metabolic processes in it for ruminotomia has a positive influence on protein synthesized of liver, erythrocyte membrane stability and the nature of regenerarive processes in injured tissues. Proposed: a number of technical amendments to the classical method of ruminotomia in cattle by I.I. Magda, efficient way of operative antiseptic treatment of wounds, a way of correcting the functional activity of the thyroid gland and tyreoides-dependent metabolism. Obtained declarative patents of Ukraine for useful model "Method of ruminotomia in young cattle" №36902, "Method of aceptisation of wound surfaces in animals" №54173 and specification for the product "Tireoton". Introdused: research results are used in educational process of teaching discipline "Operative Surgery with Topographic anatomy basis" and in scientific research Lviv Nationa University Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, Bilotserkivskyj National Agrarian University, Sumy National Agrarian University, Kharkiv State Veterinary Akademy, Odessa State Agrarian University and in the practice of veterinary medicine. Metodical recommendatios approved and adopted for implementation in practice of the Depatment of Veterinary Medicine in Lviv. Fild (industry) of use: Veterinary Medicine.
