Fimyar S. Social infrastructure of the region: the mechanism of market transformation

The subject of investigation is the functioning of social infrastructure of the region in the context of the market transformation. The purpose of investigation is the justification of the theoretical and practical principles of functioning and development of social infrastructure of the region. The methods of research are historical, system analytical, functional, of statistic analysis, tabular graphical, correlation and regression analysis, standardization, economic and mathematical modeling, searching and normative approaches. The practical importance of obtained results consists in that the scientific regulations, conclusions and recommendations of the dissertation research can be used both: at scientific and practical levels. The scientific novelty of obtained results is that first the conceptual model of strategic management of development of social infrastructure of the region has been developed. The conceptual framework of the research by means of generalization and systematization of scientific approaches to the interpretation of nature of the definitions "infrastructure" and "social infrastructure"; the process of identification the connection between functioning of social infrastructure and social standard of living; the system of general principles of application of programmatic purposive approach to the management of development of social infrastructure; the system of instruments of regulation of development of social infrastructure and the mechanism of its market transformation by means of minimal social standards correction and their financial support; the conceptual model of attracting the investments to the development of social infrastructure, have been improved. The methodical approaches to the evaluation of the development of social infrastructure in the context of the market transformation by means of formation of index totality that are the most complex and that include the plural number of interrelated and mutually agreed characteristics; the analysis of the status of social infrastructure, have been further developed.
