Tarasenko O. Foridon gel’s pharmacological and therapeutical efficiency in patients with an essential hypertension and with or without ischemic heart disease

Dissertation is devoted to the study of pharmacological and therapeutically efficiency of new medical form of calcium antagonist – the foridon in a form of 5 % gel. It is found out that for patients with an essential hypertension and ischemic heart disease gel of foridon shows the expressed antihypertensive and antiischemic activity of more protracted action than pills. The advantage of gel of foridon is in its ability to rebuild the broken day’s profile of blood pressure. On consideration of the activity state of sympathoadrenal system and renin-angiotenzin-aldosteron systems the absence of considerable fluctuation of level of catecholamine, the activity of renin of plasma and angiotensin II both after non-permanent and after course application of gel of foridon are found out. The pharmacokinetics of gel of foridon is considered among patients with an essential hypertension and healthy volunteers.
