Kolesnikova O. Causation in the phraseological system of Russian language (lingvocultural aspect)

The thesis is devoted to the study of causation (causal, consecutive, purpose, conditional and concessive relations) on the phraseological level. The fragment structural organization of the phraseological vision of the world with the semantics of causation is described with the outlining of thematic fields, thematic and semantic groups, semantic and synonymous series. Linguocultural analysis allowed to determine the specifics of images, used for the basis of phraseological units (the presence of such components as soul, heart, head, mind, wits in the structure of phraseological units, correlated with anthropic and somatic cultural patterns). The national-cultural specificity of causation in the Russian phraseology is presented in the article: the unknown, unseen reason is explained by the influence of infernal forces; the idea of sacrifice in the semantics of phraseological units, pointing at the means of reaching the goal; the semantics of the negation of all possible conditions of the commission of undesirable or impossible actions (act) implies the rejection of material values because of those or other moral beliefs; connection of concession with insistence on one's position, stubbornness.
