Object - the process of teaching gifted youth in Germany in the second half of 20th century; aim - to analyse theoretical aspects and to summarize the experience of organizing the teaching process of gifted youth in secondary and high educational establishments in Germany in the second half of 20th century; methods - theoretical, empirical; novelty - an integral analysis of theory and practice of organizing the teaching process of gifted youth in Germany during specific historical period (the second half of 20th century) was made; the stages of development in organization of educating gifted youth were founded and grounded scientifically, including peculiarities of socio-political organization, cultural and educational levels FRG and NDR (1950 - 1964, 1965 - 1988, 1989 - 1999); main principles, forms, methods, ways and means of teaching gifted youth and students in Germany in the second half of 20 century were characterized; prognosticational tendencies of development of the system of teaching gifted youth in Ukraine in the 21th century and perspectives of creative use of theoretical statements and German practical experience under conditions of domestic middle and high school are defined; socio-political, cultural and pedagogical factors that conditioned the way of educational process organizing of gifted youth in Germany in the second half of the 20 century have been specified the approaches to defining the meaning of the notion "endow ments" (psycho-physiological, functional, integrational) have got further development; results authors course "The theory and practice of organization of teaching gifted youth in Germany (historico-pedagogical aspect)" has been worked and approved; field - pedagogy
