Essay

The dissertation is the first endeavor to analyze the development of the problem of happiness as a pedagogical category in the history of the national education. In the context of the mentioned problem, the experience of the activities of well-known Ukrainian and foreign pedagogical systems is identified and generalized. The opportunities for the creative application of theoretical inheritance and practical experience of the educators of the past under the new conditions of the national system formation are determined; new tendencies of the development of the idea of pedagogical happiness are outlined. Some suggestions to solve the investigated problem at general comprehension educational institutions of Ukraine are offered.
