Zupanets K. The experimental foundation of the combined application of glucosamine derivatives with quercetine in different variants of osteoarthritis

The thesis is devoted to experimental substantiation of combined appication of glucosamine derivatives with quercetine in different variants of osteoarthritis. It was experimentally proved that combined application of glucosamine derivatives with quercetine results to the origin of pharmacodynamic synergism effect in the form of potentiation of action which is confirmed on models of exudative, alterative and proliferative inflammation. It was established that the investigated composition belongs to the relatively harmless substances. On the models of different variants of OA (posttraumatic, nonspecific and systemic steroidal OA) it was shown the more high antiinflammatory and chondroprotective activity of composition. It was also proves that the investigated composition has antiapoptotic effect, promotes the prevention and deceleration of chondrocytes death in joint cartilage, that can be interpreted as one of the possible mechanisms of chondroprotective activity realization.
