Essay

The dissertation is focused on studying new methods of prophylaxis of post-radiation and stress induced disorders of bio-energetic processes in hepatic tissue and red blood cells; morphofunctional changes in hepatocytes induced by combined administration of preparations of ?-lipoic acid and thiotriazolinum are evaluated. Novel properties of ?-lipoic acid were outlined, namely the prevention of stress- and radiation induced inherited effects. Particularly, the number of animals with unstable genome in posterity of ?-irradiated rats was found to decrease. New properties of ?-lipoic acid and thiotriazolinum combination were discovered — prevention of bio-energetic processes disorders, prevention of cellular population kinetics and hepatocytes mitotic activity, prevention of erythrocytes peroxide resistance in posterity of rats exposed to multiple stress.
