Plakhotnyk O. Concepts of education in the system of education of USA.

The problem of the concepts of education in the system of school education in USA in the comparative and pedagogical aspects is researched (humanistic education, character education, civic education). The key notions of the study: "concept of education" and "concept of education in the U.S. school system" have been determined. The notions "education", "concept", "system of school education in USA" have been clarified. The philosophical and pedagogical basis of main educational concepts of USA school education have been analyzed. The acquired scientific knowledge on the usage of the concepts of education in the U. S. school system through special programs has been further developed. The author theoretically defines possibilities of use of American pedagogical experience in Ukraine. Based on creative application of American experience of school organization, the offered recommendation enables realization of the suggested possibilities in Ukrainian school.
