Borys K. Fertility Trends: Socio-Economic Determinants and Family Policy

Dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological bases of research socio-economic determinants of fertility trends, the mechanisms of their effects on fertility and develop family policy in Ukraine. The nature of relationships between fertility and socio-economic determinants are developed. The influence of major socio-economic determinants on fertility in modern framework are analyzed. The comparative analysis of fertility trends in Ukraine and developed European countries are allocated. Researched conceptual frameworks, main directions and means of family policy are analyzed. The directions of further development of family policy in Ukraine and formulates recommendations for improvements.
